How Beacon Local Helps Your Practice Grow

A custom website and ongoing SEO. Everything your pelvic floor PT practice needs to get found by more patients online.

Custom Website Build

A fast, modern website built specifically for your pelvic floor PT practice. If you like the look of your current site, you can keep it. I rebuild the plumbing underneath while preserving the aesthetic you already have. Or you can start fresh. Either way, it's built so patients searching for help in your area can actually find you, not buried under bigger practices or outdated directories. Every site gets a unique style, tone, and content that reflects your practice. Your site, your code, yours to keep.

Google Business Profile Management

Your Google Business Profile is often the first thing patients see. Google now treats it like an active platform. Profiles with weekly posts, fresh photos, and a steady flow of reviews rank higher than inactive ones. I keep yours active and optimized so it keeps working for you.

Local SEO

I monitor your local rankings, keep your citations clean, and adjust your technical SEO when things shift so your practice keeps showing up when patients in your area search for pelvic floor therapy.

Content Strategy

I record and transcribe occasional half-hour conversations with you about how you treat patients and why. I also pull from anywhere your expertise already lives. Podcast appearances, YouTube videos, articles you've written. That material gets adapted for your site too. All of it becomes service pages, blog posts, and GBP updates targeting what patients actually search for, from "pelvic floor therapy near me" to specific conditions like prolapse, incontinence, postpartum recovery, and chronic pelvic pain. The expert depth comes from you. The writing isn't on you. Your time investment is the conversation, not hours at a keyboard.

Monthly Reporting

Every month you get a plain-English performance update and a trend-based recommendations report with specific actions for your practice based on what patients are actually searching for right now. Not a generic dashboard. Concrete next steps.

What a Typical Month Looks Like

Every month includes a website update, active GBP management, and a recommendations report written specifically for your practice.

Website Update

New content based on what patients are searching for. A service page section, a condition page, or a blog post. Your site keeps growing, and Google favors sites that publish fresh, relevant content.

GBP Post

Written and published to your Google Business Profile every week, targeting search terms patients in your area are actually using. Profiles with regular activity rank higher than inactive ones.

Trend Report

A short, specific document covering what's happening in pelvic floor PT search trends, what patients are looking for, and what I recommend for your practice next month.

What to Expect

From the first call to the monthly rhythm. I take on a small number of practices at a time because that's what doing this well requires.

1

Book a call

20 minutes, free tips, and a conversation about your practice.

2

Discovery

I learn your voice through your current site and a call where you walk me through how you treat patients, what conditions you see most, and what makes your approach different. The same approach works for ongoing content: talk it through on a quick call when needed and I'll structure it from there. No writing required on your end.

3

Build (3 to 4 weeks)

Fast, search-optimized, AI-readable website. If you like the look of your current site, I can keep that aesthetic and rebuild the foundation underneath. You review and approve.

4

Launch

Site goes live. Your Google Business Profile gets configured to support the site, and the site gets configured to support the profile. They're audited against each other so they reinforce, not duplicate.

5

Monthly rhythm starts

See "What a Typical Month Looks Like" above for the visible work. There's also a layer of less-visible work that keeps everything running: see the next section.

What's Also Happening Every Month

The work that doesn't make it into the deliverables but keeps everything working.

  • I keep your site's framework current so it stays fast and secure.
  • I audit your Google Business Profile against your site to make sure each one supports the other.
  • I track what's changing in search and AI, and incorporate what matters into your site.
  • I track what's changing in pelvic floor PT specifically (new patient search patterns, conditions trending up, language shifting) and incorporate that too.

Common Questions

Why work with someone who only does pelvic floor PT, versus a general PT marketing agency?

General PT covers a wide range: orthopedic, sports, geriatric, neuro, pelvic floor, and more. Each has its own patient vocabulary, search patterns, and content needs. Agencies that serve all of PT typically apply general templates to each specialty, which is efficient for them but limits depth.

What I do is different in two specific ways. First, the content is grounded in the practitioner's actual expertise. That can come from recorded interviews, written notes, existing podcasts or videos they've made, or articles they've already published. The point is that it sounds like the clinician because it comes from the clinician, not from generic templates. Second, the trend tracking I do is pelvic-floor-specific (which conditions are trending up, which patient language is shifting), not general PT trends. Both matter because pelvic floor patients ask different questions and use different terminology than orthopedic or sports PT patients.

If your practice is broad-spectrum PT and pelvic floor is one of many specialties, a general PT agency might fit better. If pelvic floor PT is your specialty or a major focus, the depth from this approach is hard to replicate at the general level.

Can I hire you for just a website build?

No. The website build is included in the monthly service, not sold as a separate one-time purchase. I build every site with the SEO foundation in place from the start: the structure, the content, the technical underpinnings. Then I optimize it month over month so your rankings keep climbing.

Can you keep the look of my current website?

Yes. Many practices come to me happy with how their current site looks but frustrated that it's slow, hard to update, or not bringing in patients. I can rebuild your site on a faster, SEO-ready foundation while preserving the look you already have: colors, fonts, layout, and feel. You get the findability benefits of a custom build without giving up the visual identity you spent time on. If you'd rather start fresh, I can do that too.

I already have a website. Can you just do SEO?

No, I don't offer SEO as a standalone service. I only work on sites I build. That way I control the entire stack: speed, structure, schema markup, and content. That means I can move fast without waiting on another developer. It also means better results, because the site and SEO strategy are built as one system from the start.

What happens if I cancel the monthly service?

Your website is yours. The code, the content, the design. All of it. If you cancel, I hand everything over and you can host it yourself or have someone else maintain it. No lock-in, no hostage situations. SEO optimization stops when the monthly service stops. Your site stays live, but without new content and active profile management, competitors who keep investing will move ahead. The website and everything I built is still yours.

How long before I see results?

Your new website goes live within a few weeks of starting. SEO is a longer game. Most practices start seeing meaningful movement in search rankings around month three, with results compounding from there. That said, there are no long-term contracts. You stay because it’s working, not because you’re locked in.

Do I really own my website?

Yes, 100%. You own the code, the content, and the design. I keep a backup ready for you at all times with standard instructions for getting it running. If you ever want to part ways, you take everything with you. No proprietary lock-in, no rebuilding from scratch.

What if something happens to you?

Your website is yours from day one. The code, the content, your data, all of it. I keep a current backup of your site at all times, and you can request it any time. If something happens to me or to Beacon Local, you walk away with everything intact. You can host it yourself or hand it to another developer. There's no scenario where you lose what you paid for.

What if my practice has multiple locations?

Add $200/month per additional location. Each location needs its own Google Business Profile, its own location-specific pages on the site, and its own ranking signals to track. The base $500/month covers the strategy, technical work, and content production that applies across all your locations. The $200 covers the per-location work that doesn't get cheaper just because there are more of them.

How involved do I need to be?

You review every piece of content and every post before it goes live. Reviews are usually quick, but they're important: you know your practice, your patients, and what you're comfortable saying better than anyone. Beyond that, the monitoring, reporting, and operational work happens in the background. You'll get a plain-English report every month either way. The goal is to rely on your judgment but keep the mundane stuff off your plate.

Why can't I just set up my website and Google profile once?

Your Google Business Profile now works more like a social media account than a static listing. Google rewards practices that post regularly, respond to reviews, and keep their information fresh. Inactive profiles fall behind active ones. Your website works the same way. A site that keeps adding relevant content keeps competing. One that stops growing stops gaining ground. The practices that stay visible are the ones that stay active.
